Great Wildlife Exploration Day

About Us

The Great Wildlife Exploration at Hengistbury Head takes place on Saturday 9th June. This family-friendly and free event is an exciting opportunity to explore Hengistbury's nature through guided walks with some of the county's leading wildlife experts, whilst helping Rangers to conserve local species.

Hengistbury Head is home to a staggering diversity of trees, plants, wildflowers and of course, the pollinating insects which are crucial for them to exist and be so successful.

Dr Anita Diaz from Bournemouth University will be joining us for our Great Wildlife Exploration - as an expert in botany and pollination ecology, there is nobody better to join for a ramble on a sunny afternoon while we explore the plant world of our beautiful reserve!
