About Us

 Set sail with the award-winning Highcliffe Charity Players as they celebrate their 50th birthday in suitably ‘golden’ style, with a special treasure-filled summer panto full of fun and surprises. This swashbuckling one-act adventure sees our courageous heroes Jim and Felicity, Jim’s outrageous mother, Ma Hawkins, and a host of other characters, on a quest for buried treasure. But ‘X’ marks the spot, you say? If only it were that easy! For Jim and the gang are pursued by the treacherous Long John Silver and his band of pirates who are determined to have the treasure all for themselves… whatever the cost!

So it’s all aboard the good ship ‘Hispaniola’ for another slick, fast-moving HCP production with the usual magical quota of music, mayhem, slapstick humour, and plenty of audience participation. (Oh yes you will!) Panto gold for a golden anniversary!
